FLECH: A Danish market solution for DSO congestion management through DER flexibility services

Future electric power systems will face new operational challenges due to the high penetration of distributed energy resources (DERs). In Denmark, distribution system operator (DSO) expects a significant congestion increased in grids. order manage these congestions and mobilize DERs as economically efficient possible future grid, brand notion flexibility clearing house (FLECH) is proposed this paper. With aggregator-based offers, FLECH market has ability promote small scale (upto 5 MW) for actively participating trading services, which are stipulated accommodating various requirements DSO. Accordingly, setups processes also illustrated detail. A quantitative example utilized illustrate formulation classification services provided by market.
