ABSTRACT
Abstract This paper describes the development and implementation of a character education program at University Navarra. The Leadership as Service Program has been developed in collaboration with Oxford Character Project, adapted its Global Initiative to Spanish context. purpose is help students develop sense personal purpose, virtues that are specific leadership, such prudence, humility, gratitude, resilience, service. methodology follows seven strategies includes mentoring program. In order adapt context, was integrated much possible into fabric Navarra by means (1) facilitating new initiative workshops on purpose; (2) incorporating an existing program; (3) positioning local actors experts, (4) dialogue stakeholders within university. First results indicate makes valuable contribution ethical professional students, which corroborates findings Initiative.
