ABSTRACT
Abstract Public policy reforms and consumer requirements for the environment have raised awareness among winegrowers of need to review their farming practices. This renewal production aims high economic, environmental, social performance, as well product quality. Therefore, it often assumes changes in practices due adoption agroecological (AEP). However, adopting these depends not only on demonstrating positive economic environmental impacts AEP but also impacts. study investigated winegrowers’ perceptions analyzed most important drivers AEP. It was based quantitative sociological data from a survey Loire Valley (France). An original scoring method used identify adopters non-adopters Then, logit econometric model explore statistically significant relations between internal external farm variables. Results confirmed that converged with results analysis. were adopted mainly by sensitive human health. Adoption depended context type AEP: wine tourism activities farm, training, sales revenue positively correlated absence partners, vineyard area winemaking negatively adoption. Thus, public private agricultural actors should consider influential factors increase farmers.
