ABSTRACT
Abstract The Shanghai soft X-ray free-electron laser (SXFEL) user facility project started in 2016 and is expected to be open users by 2022. It aims deliver ultra-intense coherent femtosecond pulses five endstations covering a range of 100–620 eV for ultrafast science. Two undulator lines are designed constructed, based on different lasing modes: self-amplified spontaneous emission echo-enabled harmonic generation. scattering imaging (CSI) endstation the first commissioned online. focuses high-resolution single-shot study dynamic processes using forward techniques. Both holograms diffraction patterns were recorded reconstructed nanoscale imaging, indicating excellent coherence high peak power SXFEL possibility “diffraction before destruction” experiments at CSI endstation. In this study, we report commissioning results
