ABSTRACT
Abstract Selective Laser Melting (SLM) of magnesium alloys is the technology undergoing dynamic development in many research centres. The results are promising and make it possible to manufacture defect-free material with better properties than those offered by manufacturing technologies used date. This review aims evaluate present state as well main challenges using Powder Bed Fusion (L-PBF) for processing an alternative way conventional parts aerospace industry. literature first one outline information concerning potential use industry summarise alloy AM technologies, particular L-PBF. available was reviewed gather about: industry—the benefits limitations its alloys, examples applications new methods parts, L-PBF process metallic materials, state-of-the-art into alloys.
