ABSTRACT
Abstract Purpose Cartilage defects are a common pathology in active people and affect quality of life. A treatment option is with minced cartilage (MC). As conservative therapy has limited effect, surgical treatments vary terms procedure results. modified technique for autologous repair presented here. Method MC was by adding synovial sealant. This improves the stability graft, allowing to proliferate. The tissue potential stimulate implanted cartilage, which promotes healing regeneration. clinical functional results were examined retrospective case series. Results proven be reproducible retropatellar both efficient cost effective. sealing performed ten patients damage. In conducted cases serious, 10 available follow-up after 18 ± 3 months. Patients showed good pain (VAS = 1.9, KOOS Pain 89.7), symptoms (KOOS Symptoms 83.6), daily activity Activity 96.6). Conclusion combines advantages one-stage approach. It utilizes regenerative while providing improved mechanical stability. offers cost-effective, solution full-thickness defects, shows promising medium term.
