ABSTRACT
In the current study, effects of different post-processing methods, including heat treatment (HT) and electro-chemical polishing (ECP) as well their combination on surface texture, porosity, microstructure, mechanical properties, rotating bending fatigue behavior U-notched laser powder bed fused AlSi10Mg specimens were comprehensively investigated. addition, to better understand applied methods sensitivity notched specimen near-surface defects, finite element analysis was performed. Chemical found be very influential texture modification narrow parts, for which application other treatments can quite challenging. It also that more sensitive rather than defects. The hybrid involving HT+ECP most effective improvement due simultaneous homogenization released tensile residual stresses, enhanced ductility high modification.
