ABSTRACT
In this paper, we introduce a new statistical methodology for updating the flexibility level of traditional distributions. The newly developed method is called, logarithmic-U family For distributions, estimation parameters via maximum likelihood discussed. Some mathematical properties distributions are also derived. By using method, an updated version Weibull model, namely, logarithmic distribution introduced. A simulation study provided. Finally, practical illustration shown by analyzing two data sets taken from engineering sector. first set represents fracture toughness Al2O3 material. Whereas, second fatigue Kelvar 373/epoxy. applications show that proposed very competent in and other related sectors.
