Network structure of PTSD symptoms in Chinese male firefighters

ABSTRACT
The network perspective of mental disorder offers a novel way understanding the psychopathology post-traumatic stress (PTSD). In this framework, PTSD may arise from direct interactions between its symptoms. present study, we used Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder Checklist-civilian Version (PCL-C) to investigate structure symptoms in 994 Chinese male firefighters. We also calculated micro (i.e., edges weight and node expected influence) middle community) indicators final network. Nine strongest existed were same dimension PCL-C, like "avoidance thoughts" reminders". Symptoms "emotional reactivity", reminders" "exaggerated startle response" had highest influence.
