ABSTRACT
The current shortage of pediatric multivisceral donors accounts for the long time and mortality on waiting list patients. use after cardiac death, especially outbreak normothermic regional perfusion, has increased in recent years all solid organs except intestine, mainly because its higher susceptibility to ischemia-reperfusion injury. We present first literature case death transplantation a 13-month-old recipient from 2.5-month-old donor. Once exitus was certified, an extracorporeal membrane oxygenation circuit established, cannulating aorta infrarenal vena cava, while supra-aortic branches were clamped. abdominal completely recovered ischemia through perfusion (extracorporeal initially beating heart later). After with preservation solution, graft uneventfully implanted. Two months later, patient discharged without any complications. This demonstrates possibility reducing spent these
