•Sarcoidosis is a chronic multisystemic granulomatous disease with unknown etiology.•Sarcoidosis affects the head and neck region in only 10%-15% of cases.•Larynx turban-like thickening should raise high suspicions laryngeal sarcoidosis.•Sarcoidosis diagnosed after laboratory, endoscopic, histopathology findings exclude other differentials.•Isolated sarcoidosis rare, making early diagnosis challenging rising misdiagnosis.
