ESGO–ESMO–ESP consensus conference recommendations on ovarian cancer: pathology and molecular biology and early, advanced and recurrent disease

ABSTRACT
The European Society of Gynaecological Oncology, the for Medical Oncology (ESMO) and Pathology held a consensus conference (CC) on ovarian cancer 15-16 June 2022 in Valencia, Spain. CC panel included 44 experts management pathology, an ESMO scientific advisor methodologist. aim was to discuss new or contentious topics develop recommendations improve harmonise patients with cancer. Eighteen questions were identified discussion under four main topics: (i) pathology molecular biology, (ii) early-stage disease pelvic mass pregnancy, (iii) advanced stage (including older/frail patients) (iv) recurrent disease. divided into working groups (WGs) each address relating one outlined above, based their expertise. Relevant literature reviewed advance. Recommendations developed by WGs then presented entire further amendment before voting. This manuscript focuses recommendation statements that reached consensus, voting results summary evidence supporting recommendation.
