ABSTRACT
The prevalence of malnutrition among infants with congenital heart disease (CHD) is high. Early nutritional assessment and intervention contribute significantly to its treatment improve outcomes. Our objective was develop a consensus document for the management CHD.We employed modified Delphi technique. Based on literature clinical experience, scientific committee prepared list statements that addressed referral paediatric nutrition units (PNUs), assessment, CHD. Specialists in cardiology gastroenterology evaluated questionnaire 2 rounds.Thirty-two specialists participated. After two evaluation rounds, reached 150 out 185 items (81%). Cardiac pathologies associated low high risk cardiac or extracardiac factors carry were identified. developed recommendations follow-up by calculation requirements, type route administration. Particular attention devoted need intensive therapy preoperative period, PNU during postoperative period patients who required care, reassessment cardiologist case goals are not achieved.These can be helpful early detection vulnerable patients, their improving prognosis
