ABSTRACT
This study reports on the synthesis and characterization of an effective cathode paper electrode comprising comparatively inexpensive hydrous RuO2 (h-RuO2) nanoparticles carbon nanotubes (CNT) for anion exchange membrane (AEM) water electrolysis. The concentration CNT was varied to assess their impact electrocatalyst hydrogen evolution reaction (HER). electrocatalytic performance h-RuO2/CNT 22.0 wt% Ru evaluated. Promising results were obtained, with a current density -10 mA/cm2 at only 36 mV overpotential mass activity -2.41 A/gRu 100 mV. Additionally, we conducted first-principles calculations compare HER catalytic activities crystalline varying vacancies determine H2O in structural lattice using free-energy diagrams. findings demonstrate that can be used as efficient AEM
