ABSTRACT
Double-lumen tube (DLT) intubation in lateral decubitus position is rarely reported. We designed this study to evaluate the feasibility of VivaSight double-lumen (VDLT) assisted by video laryngoscope patients. Patients undergoing elective video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS) for lung lobectomy were assessed eligibility between January 2022 and December, 2022. Eligible patients randomly allocated into supine group (group S) L) a computer-generated table random numbers. The prime objective was observe whether success rate VDLT with aid not inferior that position. A total 116 assessed, 88 eligible divided L (n = 44) S 44). first attempt 90.5%, lower than (97.7%), but there no statistical difference (p > 0.05). both groups intubated more 2 attempts. mean time 91.98 ± 26.70 s group, 81.39 34.35 incidence capsular malposition 4.8%, less 36.4% < 0.001). After 24 h follow-up, it showed higher sore throat S, compared 0.009). Our shows comprehensive position, risk intraoperative postoperative throat. Chinese Clinical Trail Register (ChiCTR2200062989).
