ABSTRACT
Reactive oxygen species (ROS) are key regulators of the proliferation, metastasis, and drug resistance melanoma, which accounts for 60% skin cancer deaths. In a previous study, we developed Dudleya brittonii water extract (DBWE) with antioxidant activity, but mechanism action bioactive substances DBWE have not been fully identified. This study showed altered NADPH oxidase 2 (NOX2) expression selective inhibition cytosolic ROS mitochondrial in B16-F10 melanoma cells, suggesting NOX2 inhibitory potential DBWE. addition, inhibited lipid metabolism, cell cycle cells. The anti-melanoma effect was abrogated by addition ROS, there no significant change melanogenesis pathway. Polygalatenoside A identified as candidate substance aqueous fraction through mass spectrometry, DBWE-like confirmed. These data suggest that polygalatenoside to prevent treat melanoma.
