ABSTRACT
The aim of this study was to evaluate the influence recycling liquid fraction pretreatment with alkaline hydrogen peroxide (AHP) on hydrolysis corn stover. Corn stover pretreated in traditional condition 7.5% v/v H2O2. After pretreatment, solids were separated from and five successive reuse cycles tested. solid each recycle submitted enzymatic hydrolysis. number recycles had a linear negative effect (R2 = 0.98) biomass delignification efficiency also affected negatively conversion efficiency. Despite decrease after step, leads reduction water, H2O2 NaOH consumption up 57.6%, 59.6% respectively. These findings point an efficient technology, which may reduce costs save water.
