ABSTRACT
Skin and soft tissue infections are frequent. Candidiasis Aspergillosis the most common cutaneous fungal infections. Yemeni alum (Aluminium Potassium Sulphate) is a natural mineral with antifungal antibacterial properties. This study aimed to confirm alum's effectiveness against selected strains develop useful topical formulations. Using different concentrations, we prepared twenty-three formulations, including four non-adjusted aqueous solutions, eight adjusted pH glycerite three Oil/Water cream Then, examined activity suggested fungus. The animal skin irritation test evaluated local sensitivity reactions that might happen upon using formulations on intact animal's skin. Additionally, this also included six weeks of stability testing estimate expected shelf life (t90) Alum exerted effect Candida albicans, Aspergillus niger, flavus. was not irritated by any examined. 5% solution 10% exhibited promising results among all tested approximate formulation's shelf-lives were 2 1.52 years content (%) ranging between 105.75% 106.02%, respectively. Based found, formulation for large-scale manufacture.
