ABSTRACT
BackgroundPhysical inactivity is important modifiable risk factor for major NCDs. Medical students and faculty who are physically active more probable to prescribe physical activity their patients, drastically improving clinical outcomes.Objectives1) To describe of participants in terms pattern, type & levels. 2) correlate with various measures obesity.MethodsThis cross-sectional study was conducted among 350 medical young aged 18–35 years. Physical assessed using WHO GPAQ. pattern described work, travel leisure domains. It classified into vigorous moderate intensity types. Levels were defined as insufficiently, moderately highly active. Measurement obesity parameters done. Data analyzed SPSS v25.0.ResultsOf all respondents, 193 (55.14%) males 157 (44.86%) females. The prevalence insufficient 20.57%. Respondents reported highest domain (1222.45 ± 1590.8 mean METM/W).
