ABSTRACT
Subsets of the human CD8+ T cell population express inhibitory NK receptors, such as killer immunoglobulin-like receptors (KIRs) and NKG2A. In present study, we examine phenotypic functional characteristics KIR+CD8+ cells NKG2A+CD8+ cells. KIRs NKG2A tend to be expressed by in a mutually exclusive manner. addition, TCR clonotypes barely overlap with those cells, are more terminally differentiated replicative senescent than Among cytokine IL12Rβ1, IL12Rβ2, IL18Rβ highly whereas IL2Rβ is IL-12/IL-18-induced production IFN-γ prominent IL-15-induced NK-like cytotoxicity These findings suggest that distinct innate-like populations different responsiveness.
