ABSTRACT
Electrochemical Discharge Machining (ECDM) is potentially applicable for the fabrication of film-cooling holes. However, It extremely difficult holes to achieve higher precision and machining quality owing working liquid diminish in lateral gap. In this study, a non-metallic backing layer was proposed overcome liquid, electrochemical reaming, as post-processing method ECDM, used further improve accuracy First, three-dimensional morphology melted pit paraffin scanned obtain geometric parameters. Then, simulation analysis experimental verification auxiliary flushing by using were performed. The performance machined with reaming based on confirmed observations surface topography hole wall orifice, measurement orifice precision, element composition wall. Finally, an optimum combination parameters obtained through process parameter optimization experiment.
