ABSTRACT
This paper proposes a co-simulator that combines OMNeT++ for communication systems with PSS/E the electrical transmission network. The applies an event-driven synchronization method minimizes errors due to delays in between both simulators. pauses simulation of power system at each event, while supervisory module returns control event simulator if any condition from pre-specified set is met. proposed demonstrated on protection based peer-to-peer and used evaluate effect latency times online state estimator.
