ABSTRACT
We present an alternative implementation of the Kalman filter employed for track fitting within LHCb experiment. It uses simple parametrizations extrapolation particle trajectories in field dipole magnet and effects multiple scattering detector material. A speedup more than a factor four is achieved while maintaining quality estimated quantities. This could be used purely software-based trigger upgrade.
