What (if anything) is missing in reports of psychological interventions for loneliness? A TIDieR analysis.

ABSTRACT
Current research suggests that individual differences in the experience of loneliness should be reflected personalized approaches to treatment. Psychological interventions are effective reducing and complete reporting these treatment studies is recommended facilitate their implementation clinical practice. Here, an adapted TIDieR (template for intervention description replication) checklist was used assess quality psychological loneliness, identified systematic reviews, including adaptations needs circumstances. Thirteen articles were evaluated, 69% randomised controlled trials. None thoroughly reported all details intervention. The results indicate inadequate. Poor how tailored or modified particular client's noted (complete only 23.1% 7.7% studies, respectively), making it difficult clinicians know best adapt loneliness. Other essential information also often missing, such as materials procedures used, limiting translation evidence into practice reproducibility future research. Greater attention needed improve reporting, increased use may assist.
