ABSTRACT
In this paper, the influence of micro scale and nanoscale limestone powder (LP) on plastic viscosity ultra-high performance concrete (UHPC) mixture was investigated. Moreover, a novel method for analyzing water film particle surfaces has been presented based low-field nuclear magnetic resonance technology (LF-NMR). Results showed that approximately 95% free in UHPC slurry is adsorbed surface particles, while rest filled capillaries macropores. rheological properties are related to size powder. Micro (LP1) could reduce heat release during early hydration UHPC, increase fluidity, but no significant effect thickness. The mixed with 10% mass fraction LP1 will decrease by 22.8%, flowability from 235 mm 270 mm, compressive strength remain unchanged at 160 MPa. However, (LP2) increases significantly reduces its fluidity. A LP2 thickness 23.5%, 38.5%, 210 mm. Meanwhile, if exceeds 5%.
