ABSTRACT
The space heating system accounts for 20%~50% of building energy consumption, and may lead to waste due unreasonable controls. In this study, an energy-efficient floor with intelligent control was proposed improve efficiency the system. order validate concept control, experimental designed constructed in Chengdu, China. Temperature, cycle consumption were then studied under different strategies. result shows that a larger flow rate supply water will longer lower frequency, i.e., average at 7 L min−1 is 1.7 h during test day, while it 1.5 5 min−1. Moreover, adopting higher temperature could achieve consumptions case 1 (5 min−1, 50 °C), 2 55 (7 °C) 6 60 are 4746 kJ, 3534 3093 kJ 3028 respectively. Based on data, suggested set than °C considering human comfort.
