ABSTRACT
Fire can damage structures severely and even cause the building collapse. Structural fire engineers must carry out a comprehensive forensic investigation of major structural failures in same rigorous meticulous manner airline industry investigates air crashes. The assessment should identify cause, spread scenario, behaviour patterns from its growth to decay, de-compartmentation, performance protection systems, firefighting management. Using available tools data, current paper proposes methodology reconstruct for tall buildings. This is done by first organising observed data into coherent timeline presenting actual obtained visual evidence. total within estimated based on dynamics principles scenes that be verified with calibrated CFD model. collapse Plasco Building assessed employing proposed framework. rise construction buildings increases risk occupants' safety induced failure or framework presented this guide improve resilience designs reduce accidents related risks.
