Aqueous battery fiber with high volumetric and areal power density for flexible electronics

ABSTRACT
The performance of small wearable or robotic devices is limited by the energy and power density batteries. We present a rechargeable aqueous gel-type AgO-Zn battery, with 17.9 W/cm3 an 624 mWh/cm3 at 0.2C 358 50C. designed multilayered fractal ion-channel structure for long, fibrous AgO electrode using twisting method. A prototype headband 2 cm × 25 woven batteries was tested. With output >4 W, battery can extend operation time commercial augmented reality glasses from h to over 12 h. Prototype different shapes this design were made, including carrying bag that works as bank phone spider bird.
