ABSTRACT
This set of experiments characterizes a model transient cerebral ischemic stroke in transgenic (Tg) mouse line which the glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP) promoter is utilized to drive expression human RNA-binding protein, HuR. Additionally, effect ischemia on endogenous Hu proteins presented.
