ABSTRACT
In the accident at Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) that accompanied Great East Japan Earthquake on 11th of March, 2011, large amounts radionuclides were released into atmosphere. Among these radionuclides, there was an especially amount 131I and 137Cs. Two years have passed since accident, decontamination deposited has become a significant task. present study, quantitative evaluation depth distribution 137Cs in soil using high-purity germanium semiconductor detector performed with samples collected Adatara, April 30, 2011. Along 137Cs, concentration showed maximum 1 cm under surface, this attenuated to approximately 1/6 surface layer 3 cm. other words, deposition comparatively shallow portion soil. Additionally, obtained from various observation sites, concentrations such as carried out. The results confirm high concentration, more than 7000 Bq/kg, Nihonmatsu City 17, 2011 May 2, Iwaki City. became higher distance NPP smaller. However, measurement values variable also depending diameter particle.
