ABSTRACT
In the context of complex worldwide energy crisis, solar district heating and embedded seasonal storage tanks can contribute to increase efficiency in systems. The analytical investigation thermal behavior allows evaluation reduction consumption, that be achieved, correct sizing both fields tanks. study presents complete models for fully mixed stratified tanks, integrated provided validation was realized by comparison with results available literature. Three five comparisons were conducted model model, respectively. Mean Deviation (MD), Bias Error (MBE) Root Square (RMSE) used process. For all comparisons, differences between tank temperature corresponding from reference are lower than 16.7 °C (occasionally). MD is 2.9 °C, while MBE 5.9 % RMSE 9.9 %. temperatures similar references 2.35 °C. 0.5 1.55 comparisons. reasonable reference, case neglectable tank, validated models, further high confidence, investigations related systems storage.
