ABSTRACT
In this study, a new multiobjective optimisation-based approach for Wind Farm Layout Optimisation (WFLO) is developed. The proposed combines four distinct Evolutionary algorithms (EA) based on optimisation methods into more powerful parallel method. combined are: the Radial Space Division EA (RSEA), Reference Points (RPEA), RVEA embedded with reference vector regeneration strategy (RVEAa) and Vector Guided (RVEA). PRPSVEAa, where letter P stands parallel, remaining letters are used from different methods. research, case studies have been investigated using commercial wind turbines hub heights of Turbines (WT) kept same in some cases varied some. results indicate that Pareto set solutions varies each other numbers WT as they spread over wide region. This offers designer most suitable layout solution technical economic factors. obtained result can also be to plan future extensions research work.
