ABSTRACT
Acidithiobacillus ferrooxidans is a facultative anaerobe that depends on ferrous ion oxidation as well reduced sulfur to obtain energy and widely applied in metallurgy, environmental protection, soil remediation. With the accumulation of experimental data, metabolic mechanisms, kinetic models, several databases have been established. However, scattered data are not conducive understanding A. necessitates updated information informed by systems biology. Here, we constructed knowledgebase iron metabolism (KIMAf) system integrating public reviewing literature, including database bioleaching substrates (DBS), metallic ion-related proteins (MIRP), bioinformation (Af-info), for dynamics model (DDMB). The DBS MIRP incorporate common metal proteins. Af-info DDMB integrate nucleotide, gene, protein, information. Statistical analysis was performed elucidate distribution isolated strains, evolutionary advances, development models. This comprehensive provides researchers with platform available metabolism-related resources facilitates its application. Zhou Z, Ma W, Liu Y, et al. Potential application an alternative platform.
