ABSTRACT
Dengue fever (DF) is one of the world's emerging infectious diseases. The steady increase in European tourists, as well soldiers serving on peacekeeping duties, endemic areas, coupled with present resurgence dengue, raises risk exposure for a large number travellers. Significant numbers travellers have, fact, developed DF. There dengue haemorrhagic (DHF) who revisit same place, and they have potential not only to acquire, but also spread, viral infection. Of concern outbreak previously dengue-free country through imported cases. Another major area transmission, due spread its vectors sizeable parts southern Europe. In addition returning introduction DF by travellers, whether symptoms or are unaffected signs disease, poses threat health systems
