ABSTRACT
The activity of transition metal sulfides for the hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) can be increased by sulfur-enrichment active metal-sulfide sites. In this report, we investigate electrochemical sulfidation atmospherically aged WS2 nanoarrays with respect to enhancing HER activity. contrast MoS2, it is found that diminishes Electrochemical and XPS experiments suggest involvement insoluble tungsten oxides in altered electron transfer properties. This demonstrates strong dependence dichalcogenide (TMD) composition successful sulfur incorporation subsequent
