ABSTRACT
We investigated the effect of different electrolyte additives such as vinyl carbonate (VC), succinic anhydride (SA), and lithium bis(oxalato)borate (LiBOB) on chemical composition Solid Electrolyte Interphase (SEI) layer electrochemical performance Si/MC electrodes. The behavior electrodes was evaluated by galvanostatic charge/discharge rate capability tests. It found that various compositions result in formation resulting properties SEI with compounds. From X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS) analysis, cycled SA- LiBOB-containing electrolytes show a higher amount carbonates thicker than those standard VC-containing electrolyte. electrode VC 5w% shows an excellent reversible capacity ∼1100 mAh g−1 up to 100 charge-discharge cycles.
