Infantile hemangioma of the clitoris presenting as a clitoral mass: A case report

ABSTRACT
Infantile hemangioma is a common benign vascular neoplasm characterized by endothelial cell proliferation. Hemangiomas are one of the most tumors infancy and typically present on head, neck, trunk or extremities.1 There currently no published cases clitoral hemangiomas presenting in an infant. In our report, we will describe five-month old female who presented with mass, found to be MRI ultrasound imaging. 1.1. Case presentation A was admitted general pediatric inpatient service fever, redness diaper area, genital swelling diagnosed as acute cellulitis. The fever were successfully treated IV antibiotics, but persisted. patient's mother stated that she first noticed when patient three months believed getting worse. past medical history significant for pre-term birth at 24 weeks following triplet pregnancy conceived via in vitro fertilization. Her neonatal period complicated respiratory distress syndrome resulting chronic lung disease, patent ductus arteriosus ligation. On physical exam, well-appearing her exam remarkable large mass noted area. red, relatively soft, measured 4 × 2 cm, replacing head (Fig. 1). remainder vagina, labia, perinium normal.
