ABSTRACT
In Cerrado humid areas, veredas are considered as hygrophilous communities, marked by the presence of Mauritia flexuosa palm tree emerging in wetter zones. Changes ecosystems due to drought and changes water table, which represent important areas for biodiversity maintenance Brazilian cerrado, can lead emergence new landscapes ecosystems. Assuming that changed species composition anthropogenic factors, this study, we evaluated flora described current vegetation profile two under different disturbances levels located north Minas Gerais State, Brazil. Altogether, 2,268 individuals 91 belonging 36 families were recorded. Our results demonstrated studied floristically terms arboreous-shrubby composition, richness, diversity. Despite forest formations open present typical from these environments (same with high importance values), table caused an expansion forest. Furthermore, there was increase abundance occur less saturated soils. demonstrate changing factors leads (water balance effect). These effects cause a modification other resistant soils, leading collapse. Finally, future studies should investigate on broader scale detect consequent change structure. way, will have support conscientious management conservation equilibrium places biome.
