ABSTRACT
We study theoretically and experimentally the acoustic Purcell effect induced by quasi-bound states in continuum (quasiBICs). A theoretical framework describing of a resonant system is developed based on system's radiative dissipative factors, which reveals critical emission condition for achieving optimum factors. show that quasiBICs contribute to highly confined field bring about greatly enhanced emission, leading strong effect. Our concept demonstrated via two coupled resonators supporting Friedrich-Wintgen quasiBIC, results are validated experiments observing enhancement sound source nearly orders magnitude. work bridges gap between BICs essential wave-matter interaction may research high-intensity sources, high-quality-factor devices nonlinear acoustics.
