ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study was to analyze the proximate composition and mineral contents available freshwater fish species from homestead ponds Patuakhali. Eleven (11) different were collected. moisture content analyzed ranged 65.46 76.82 %. Significantly higher protein found in Channa striatus Anabas testudineus lipid ash A. testudineus. However, significantly low Esomus bengalensis Notopterus notopterus, respectively. lowest experienced Wallago attu Heteropneustes fossilis. concentration calcium (Ca), sodium (Na), phosphorous (P) obtained Colisa fasciata. magnesium (Mg), potassium (K), sulpher (S) high C. striatus, H. fossilis, N. Ca Mg Lower Na K E. bengalensis. P S punctatus. PCA biplot analysis showed positive negative relations between for both contents. Therefore, coastal area could be a habitat multiple good source household nutrition.
