ABSTRACT
One of the fundamental input parameters required for thermo hydraulic and structural design a divertor cassette is operation temperature range. In current activities to develop European DEMO in frame EUROfusion, reduced activation steel EUROFER97 was chosen as material body considering its low long-term superior creep swelling resistance under neutron irradiation (You et al., 2016) [1]. For specifying an range (i.e. cooling condition) various, often conflicting requirements have be considered. this article lower limit allowed window defined body. The underlying rationale supporting experimental data from number previous tests are also presented. motivation survey study explore possibility use water-cooled at temperatures below 350 °C which has been regarded preserve ductility irradiation. Based on literature FTTT (Fracture Toughness Transition Temperature) calibrated by Master Curve method, it concluded that envisaged maximum dose 6 dpa will operated above 180 taking embrittlement due helium production into account.
