ABSTRACT
We assessed the 5-year risk of being diagnosed with significant prostate cancer following a low-suspicion biparametric magnetic resonance imaging result. The study population was derived from prospective database used to assess diagnostic accuracy for detection in 1020 biopsy-naïve men. Significant defined as any core Gleason grade group ≥3 or maximum cancerous length greater than 50% 2. A secondary definition also included: ≥2. Of men, 305 had result (Prostate Imaging Reporting and Data System score 1 2) but four men were excluded follow-up. Thus, final consisted 301 who clinically followed-up inclusion (November 2015 June 2017) until 2021.Overall, 1·7% (5/301) within 5 years (median 1480 days, Interquartile Range (1587-1382)) their corresponding set biopsies. When applied, this increased 5% (15/301) population. The after prebiopsy 1·7%.
