ABSTRACT
The interfacial along with bulk characteristics of the aqueous solutions ILs dissimilar cationic head group viz. 1-dodecyl-3-methylimidazolium bromide ([C12mim][Br]), and N-dodecyl-N-methylmorpholinium ([Mor1,12][Br]) in absence presence an amino acid L-Methionine as external additive have been examined by electrical conductivity, UV-Visible, surface tension, DLS measurements. CMC values, lowest maximum excess concentration (Гmax) achieved from all three techniques, tension measurements respectively displayed more activity [C12mim][Br] than [Mor1,12][Br]. Also, morpholinium is less hazardous imidazolium, it can be utilised to design that are greener, mainly combination polar, small, non-toxic side chains anions.
