ABSTRACT
Primary Sjögren syndrome (pSS) is a systemic autoimmune inflammatory disease. Up to now, the role of regulatory T cells (Tregs) and their subgroups in pSS still controversial. In this study we tried elucidate roles Tregs its pSS. Total 43 patients 23 health persons as control were enrolled study. We grouped according anti-SSa/SSb EULAR Sjögren's disease activity index (ESSDAI). Among patients, 14 followed after treatment. The percentage rTregs (resting Treg cells) among was increased group, decreased high subpopulation (ESSDAI ≥ 5), On contrary, aTregs (activated It an inverse correlation between aTreg rTreg patients. are co-cultured with responder cells. from showed poorer proliferation inhibitory function. Our results show that percentages altered have Compared also may functions.
