ABSTRACT
The current study primarily aims to investigate the happiness at workplace (HAW)-innovative work behaviour (IWB) correlation through mediating effect of organisation citizenship (OCB) and moderating organisational innovative culture (OIC). Notably, 383 questionnaires were collected from lecturers employed in three local universities Malaysia subsequently evaluated using structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM). Based on outcomes, HAW positively significantly affected employees' IWB effects OCB OIC, respectively. University directors should establish effective approaches that elevate workers' satisfaction, involvement, commitment develop a creative acknowledges complements innovation. This study, which pioneered examination (i) filled literature gap HAW-IWB link emerging nations (ii) expanded 'broaden build' 'social exchange' theories with concrete proof impact OCB.
