ABSTRACT
Since Japan announced its plan to discharge Fukushima nuclear wastewater into the sea on April 13, 2021, discussions hazards and illegality of this act have never stopped. In crisis, countries neighboring are direct stakeholders, so coping strategies they will adopt particularly attract worldwide attention. The paper focuses Challenges Nuclear Wastewater Discharge discussing China's responses from perspective right-safeguarding strategies. It has reached following conclusions: once is discharged sea, it result in a serious hazard cause social economic impacts all aspects; Japanese government's decision against laws; legal basis for China safeguard rights includes domestic laws Japan's international laws. Regarding strategy, can levels defend interests security ocean environment humans.
