ABSTRACT
IntroductionSmokeless tobacco use remains a significant public health concern, necessitating the acquisition of comprehensive and extensive data to effectively address control its consumption. Understanding underlying patterns consumption is crucial for this purpose.ObjectiveThis study aimed develop model that explains smokeless among adults in southeastern province Iran, specifically city Chabahar.MethodsA qualitative was conducted using grounded theory approach with inductive processes. The participants consisted 30 aged 18–64 years from Chabahar City Iran. Purposive sampling used select participants, collection continued until theoretical saturation achieved. Data analysis followed Strauss Corbin's perspective, involving four stages: Analyzing Concepts, Context, Bringing Process into Analysis, Integrating Categories.ResultsThe yielded three main categories: "starting use," "continued "cessation attempts," each their respective subcategories. Additionally, two categories related consequences were identified: "addiction efforts overcome addiction," also subcategories.ConclusionThe Dependency Cycle Model Consumption provides understanding contextual factors, processes, associated This serves as valuable tool researchers aiming effective interventions field
