ABSTRACT
Erectile dysfunction (ED) is a complex disorder of biopsychosocial etiology. Approximately 3%-77 % adult men worldwide are more or less affected by ED.This cross-sectional study investigated the association between ED and socioeconomic status (SES) based on nationally representative male population. The poverty income ratio (PIR), which refers to household established line, was used assess SES. Oxidative stress related diet lifestyle reflected oxidative balance score (OBS). function evaluated using questionnaire. Based results questionnaire, participants were divided into two groups those without (always almost always be able erect keep erection, usually erection) with (sometimes never erection). Multivariate logistic regression, multiple models, restricted cubic spline (RCS) analyze describe interaction ED, OBS, SES.Compared likely older in age (43.98 vs 37.74, P<0.0001), educated (P < 0.001), family than 3.5 = 0.02), higher BMI (30.11 27.84, lower OBS (21.71 23.17, P 0.04), having habit smoking diabetes (P<0.0001), hypertension 0.003). Participants PIR report good erectile through multivariate analysis (OR 0.49, 95 CI 0.31-0.78, 0.005). The RCS model revealed negative non-linear correlation when ≤3.89. It interesting note that was>3.89 showed positive relationship ED.The social determinants health intake oxidants antioxidants considered as risk factors for could studied research focus future.
