ABSTRACT
Immune status is widely acknowledged as a valuable marker for predicting cancer prognosis and therapy response. However, there has been limited understanding of the stromal landscape in cancer.By employing ESTIMATE, stromal- immune-scores were inferred 6193 tumor samples spanning 12 types sourced from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA). Subsequently, categorized into seven groups based on their immune scores. A comparison prognosis, lymphocyte cell infiltration, response to programmed death ligand 1 (PD-L1) was conducted among these subtypes. It unveiled by analysis that, majority types, score exhibited more potent predictive capability outcomes compared score. Furthermore, it observed that four intermediate infiltration coupled with low correlated most favorable overall survival, whereas an unfavorable outcome predicted colorectal (CRC) stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD) when high coexisted or infiltration. In summary, while scores frequently correlate positive such correlation not universal. potential strategy address current limitations specific circumstances could involve focus subtle integration status.
