ABSTRACT
Ferroptosis is a regulatory cell death (RCD) caused by iron-dependent lipid peroxidation, which the backbone of regulating various diseases such as tumor, nervous system and so on. Despite ferroptosis without specific detection methods currently, there are numerous types technology commonly used, including flow cytometry, activity assay, microscopic imaging, western blotting, quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qPCR). In addition, could be detected quantifying oxygen-free radicals reactive oxygen species (ROS), metabolite (malondialdehyde ((MDA)), related pathways observing mitochondrial damage. face methods, how to choose appropriate based on experimental purposes has become problem that needs solved at present. this review, we summarized used critical substances in process ferroptosis, hope facilitating comprehensive study with view providing guidance for subsequent research.
